I would agree - however, installCDE does not install imake or any of
it's components.  I am guessing you are doing a 'make install'?  That
might install imake/makedepend, but that is not the recommended way to
install CDE.

That said, this will be important (installing these files) if we want
to support CDE application development.  I think we probably do :)

So, maybe this stuff should be installed (including config...) via
proper entries in databases/...

Not at all, though please make sure that builds don't break :)

Also, you will probably want to update other imake related files as
well, especially imakemdep.h, and possibly ccimake.c.
