I haven't tried this myself, but I assume you are referring to the
instructions at
http://sourceforge.net/p/cdesktopenv/wiki/Createxsession/ ?

Did you make /usr/dt/bin/startxsession.sh executable? (chmod 755
/usr/dt/bin/startxsession.sh) ?
