I guess you are referring to /usr/dt/bin/Xsession If yes, this script runs on the LTSPserver which holds the CDE installation, and it is run through ssh. The thinclient's ldm (login manager) opens an ssh session to the LTSP server and executes the Xsession. Can it be that it does not allow xset to work on the display? I tested and the only error in errorlog is ============================================ *** INFORMATION(0): dtwm: PID 39807: Δευ Φεβ 15 20:52:49 2016 Workspace Manager: failed to load font: <E0>\<84> *** [112] *** INFORMATION(0): dtwm: PID 39807: Δευ Φεβ 15 20:52:49 2016 Workspace Manager: failed to load font: 0<EC>~ *** [112] *** INFORMATION(0): dtwm: PID 39807: Δευ Φεβ 15 20:52:49 2016 Workspace Manager: failed to load font: <E0>\<84> ============================================= Anyway, since it works with xorg.conf on the thinclient I have no objection with this. > Regarding saving using dtstyle: > It should work.
