Yeah, the official tarball is old.

I'd like to get CDE building on OpenIndiana again first, and would like to 
expand multihead support to encompass XRandR as well as xinerama (this 
shouldn't be hard, assuming it hasn't been done already --- I know there was 
some multihead work after my initial implementation).  I'm trying to find time 
to work‎ on this, and will hopefully have results soon.


Well, nothing prevents us from releasing additional development releases, so we'll just see how it goes.

p.s. Do you know why I'd be getting "byte-order invalid" errors from make 
World? I can post the full text later if necessary, but I know I've run into this before, 
so thought it might be a common problem with a known solution.


No clue.  FreeBSD? which version, and which modules are complaining?
