Oh!  We do have ja_JP!  What an unexpected treasure...  I guess it just
isn't built by default?  I'll need to look into this.

How do we handle fonts right now?  I know we install aliases since the
originals aren't available... But, say I use both C and ja locales on
the same machine; will / can CDE use a (different) appropriate font for
each, or do I need to change it manually..?


I see there are localized aliases in /etc/dt/config/xfonts, but the wiki
(https://sourceforge.net/p/cdesktopenv/wiki/ImprovingFonts/) says I
should edit /etc/X11/fonts/misc/xfonts-base.alias... why? And what about
a remote X environment, where /etc/dt/config/xfonts might not be
available?  Does xfs cover this?

I know this is somewhat broad and scattered, but any information you
could provide as a starting would be helpful.
