The OpenIndiana instructions basically work, for what they are. They are written for a legacy version of OpenIndiana, and there are some things builders may sometimes need to know that aren't there. GCC 6 cannot currently be used. There are build deps that aren't listed, but are probably present on most systems. Some recent developments (e.g. the Motif changes, the SMF service) aren't reflected. Overall, it needs TLC. I'll bring it into shape as I find the time.
