Excellent - many thanks (if only some commercial operations would respond to support requests so quickly - then the $$$ they charge might be worth it ;-) Builds smoothly against JDK 1.4.2. Also ran the unit tests. One teeny hiccup while this is fresh in your mind... $ ant -buildfile javadoc.xml ... [javadoc] /home/soldev/Syngenta/cdk-1.0.x/src/org/openscience/cdk/applications/DescriptorCalculator.java:41: cannot access org.xmlcml.cml.element.CMLMolecule [javadoc] bad class file: /home/soldev/Syngenta/cdk-1.0.x/jar/jumbo52.jar(org/xmlcml/cml/element/CMLMolecule.class) [javadoc] class file has wrong version 49.0, should be 48.0 [javadoc] Please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectory of the classpath. [javadoc] import org.xmlcml.cml.element.CMLMolecule; Will log a (low-priority) bug report.
