Good Afternoon, First and Foremost, My name is Darren Gill, I am the Director of programs and operations at Future Tech West.
I am writing to you on behalf of Future Tech West, Located in Prince Edward Island Atlantic Canada. We are a Rural IT Centre owned and Governed by a Community Development Organization. Future Tech West, located in O'Leary, P.E.I. is one of three IT Centers strategically located across P.E.I. Future Tech West is a non-profit organization that aims to initiate opportunities for IT companies and educational institutions and create sustainable employment opportunities in the IT sector in Western P.E.I. . Its strategic focus includes: business development, health and education, and the agriculture business sector. The E-farm Portal Service is a vertical line of business that bridges to and supports Future Tech West's strategic focus on the Agriculture Business sector. Future Tech West would like to have the openoffice.org community to become a CD ROM Community Distributor for the Atlantic Region of Canada we would also like your permission to follow up by hosting a server for downloading the distributions. We have read and fully agree to the licensing agreement We will include a copy of the license with the program (the regular installer does this); We will either include the source code or tell the users where it is (http://www.openoffice.org); and We agree, if we modify the OpenOffice.org source, you need to publish those modifications, as source code. In addition we would like to be granted access to use the Community Distributor banner, CD-ROM labels, and other graphics located at www.openoffice.org for marketing purposes. Marketing materials will be located at www.futuretechwest.com and on www.efarmportal.ca as well as in print media. I hope to hear from you very soon regarding further arrangements.
