That's why I made the two directories as I did. However, when I first proposed dropping the Solaris builds (back around 1.0.2 IIRC) to make way for Mac, there were howls of protest - "Drop something else, but NOT Solaris, please!". fortunately, I was able to get a tool which allowed me to strip duplicate files and replace them with links, thus shrinking the image by around 45 MB.
