Alex, I tried that already BEFORE trying the whole thing again. The
recheck shows all is good, when it isn't.  It seems the source is
corrupt.

In the end, I downloaded the Installer + Java, via HTTP and remade the
ISO myself. While I was at it, I also corrected the icon for the CD-ROM
in windows (*.png is not a valid icon format).
