Greetings Dan,

The simplest way to get the latest version oof OpenOffice.org is to download
it from the download site http://download.openoffice.org

You are free to use it as you wish, that is what is meant by Free software, it
doesn't actually have a lot to do with the cost of it.

You can use it in the lab, you can give a copy to all the kids to put on their
home computers, you can use it in your schools admin area, you can give a
copy to your teachers for their computers and you can even customise your
schools own version and burn it onto CD and sell it to raise funds for the
school. That's what free software is about.

If you want a full commercial version with corporate level support, Star
Office is available from Sun cost free to schools

Cheers
GL
