Sorry to hear of your download problems, but unfortunately this does happen
at times.
May I suggest that you go to www.OpenOffice.org and under the download
button you will see another link 'get cd's'.
This will take you to an alphabetical geographical list of distributors in
your locality who will be able to supply you with a postal service of a
disk.
