I have sent two emails a month for the last 28 months and not had a reply,
so I wouldn't worry about it.

I must say that all the emails I have ever sent to Alex or Louis have been
answerd real quick.

Great work.

About the ebay sales thing. I tried this and it threw up a lot of problems
(not to mention unwarranted suspensions either to do with copy right or
keyword spaming ). So i gave up and stuck with conventional sites, I simply
spread the word, supply high quality CD,s to who ever wants to pay rather
than download and I don't look at it as a way to make money.

I have been watching big sellers on ebay for a few months, They always have
Featured-plus adverts at £10 a go and place 3 ads a week.

Average sale per advert has dropped from 3 per advert to 1 every three
adverts. Needless to say they lose money...

You can always look at completed listing on ebay if you want to check out
the market.

I made this link to show the most recently completed Power Sellers (big boys
with expensive ads) on ebay so you can get an idea of what profits are
involved.

Either click and sign in to ebay, or sign in to ebay before clicking on the
link.

hope this lot helps.

Subject: Re: [cd-rom] Must I become a Community Distributor in order to sell
OOo CDs on EBay?

Hi Alex,

after reading your reply to David Convengo about

distributing via Ebay I thought I better ask a couple of

questions.

I sent an email to you ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) a few weeks

ago regarding distributing Open Office via Ebay but didn't

receive a reply. Can you confirm whether you received the

email and whether it is ok for me to distribute via Ebay? (I

hope so because I've already listed some items). I've

already joined all the mailing lists as per your Ebay

guidance page.

I also wrote to ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) but didn't

receive a reply from them either regarding using the logo's

etc. I made a box and cd graphic using the graphics that are

available on Open Offices site but now I'm wondering whether

I'll get into trouble for doing so :(

You can view my Ebay listing here and let me know if it's ok

or not:

Any help or advice you can give would be great.

Warm regards,

Richard Fenn
