I thought that I had notified yourself, and Jpmcc, at the time, but obviously
not. I apologise for that.
About the beginning of September last, my Mother was suddenly taken seriously
ill, and as I am the only one of our family that was ‘local’ to her, it fell
upon me to do everything possible I could whilst trying to keep a full time
demanding job.
Also to top it all, I lost another very special person, who had been in my life
for 20 odd years – she was ‘everything’ to me, and we had our own place for
about 18 of those years. When she passed away, I moved back into my Mother’s
house, to concentrate on her.
Unfortunately, my Mother passed away a couple of days before Christmas, so you
can imagine what the combination of these two events did to me.
Since then, the solicitors are still trying to sort out the will etc, and as my
sister, who has a share, would not come to any sensible agreement to me staying
in the house, I was told last week that the house was on the market.
Apparently they have already found a cash buyer, and it looks like I have about
6 weeks grace to find somewhere to live!
Hopefully, once I get sorted, I will be able to get back to ‘your’ , and other
projects, that I have let fall by the wayside.
Perhaps you would be good enough to forward to Jpmcc for me, or do a general
posting, as I see that a couple of other people have also enquired.
