Firstly, my sincere condolences. Take as much time as you need to sort 
everything out. 

As for the attachment, the list server is set to strip attachments. However, 
I'm sure that John would have seen your post (although I seem t remember that  
he resigned, and Florian donned his hat, but don't quote me on that.)
