no chance: the IDE/SCSI driver integration on SOlaris/sparc is buggy.
It works on Solaris 8/x86

DO not expect that the GOldstar drive in a U-10 gives good quality.

Cdrtools-1.9a03 will have a fallback from the SCG driver interface to 
the USCSI interface in the libscg.

USCSI does support ATAPI on sparc even though there is the bug in the driver.
