Hi!

I have some problems with 2.4.0-test8 and cdrecord 1.10a02:

$ cdrecord -scanbus
Cdrecord 1.10a02 (i586-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jrg Schilling
cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open SCSI driver.
cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root.
$

But I am root (and this was never a problem).

But
$ cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
  Vendor: HP       Model: CD-Writer+ 9100  Rev: 1.0a
  Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
  Vendor: SanDisk Model: ImageMate II Rev: 1.30
  Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
$

So there is the cdwriter.

I remember there was a mail about something similar on this list,
but I forgot about it.

Thanks for any hints!

Best wishes
Norbert
