I got similar stuff from a bad CD-RW media. Other blanks worked, and
using the foral and all options got the media erased properly after
playing with it.
I don't know if this is your problem, if you are using the same
hardware you used for SuSE, it is less likely to be termination or a bad
CD-RW device.
