  It looks as if this device is being called a CD-R instead of CD-RW. Is
it? And do you have full SCSI support including the generic support? Is
your modules file correct? It seems to be looking for a module it can't
find.

  Just things I would check, I don't "know" what causes this, but these
are some things which might.
