On Solaris you don't need to reboot, just call drvconfig.....

If you own a E-10k, you may even add hardware without a reboot (just
pull out a CPU board, add the HW and insert it again.....

Libscg will support the devfs when it is ready. At the moment it
does not seem to be ready. It is not in the default kernel config.
