I also had trouble to filter messages from this list, since it apparently has a
few different post addresses ([EMAIL PROTECTED],
[EMAIL PROTECTED]). The solution is to use a different header to base
your filtering rule (X-Mailing-List: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ...).
Adding something like [cdwrite] is common use in some mailing lists, however it
is not the only alternative out there. Other mailing lists use extra headers
like:
List-Id:
List-Help
List-Post
List-Subscribe:
List-Unsubscribe:
List-Archive:
pine, as an example, processes these headers and makes them into commands that
you can execute to subscribe/unsubscribe.
The List-Id header is the recommended choice for filtering email coming from a
mailing list.
In the end it all depends on the mailing list manager (majordomo, mailman, etc)
or its configuration.
