hello, cdrecord version 1.10a16 (as well as 1.8.1 and 1.9.1) I am having audio cd problems with cdrecord under irix 6.5.10 on an O2 with a 300mhz cpu upgrade. The cd drive is a yamaha 8832 CD-RW. I get no errors on the burn except the audio is full of static. I know its a swab problem and even when I force the swab command it is still the same. I have tried to convert the audio files from aiff to wav with both the irix sfconvert command and sox as well as tried converting the aiff and wav files to the cdr audio format. all with the smae results. BTW - the sounds are 16-bit @ 44.1k The burner works under MacOS and Linux so I think its a problem with the swab flag not working under irix. anybody else had similar problems? or use irix and cdrecord for audio cd's?
