By my own experience, the behavior after aborting a burning job will depend
on
the CDRWs. For example, Plextor PX-W1210TA, AOPEN CRW-1232, and TDK
CRD-BP1300PT will be locked until rebooted. But Lite-on LTR-12101B won't
be locked.
I have tried to add "unlock" command in my own burning program. It worked. I
guess that windows burning programs also do it. BTW, there is another way to
resolve this problem. You could send a "soft rest" command to reset cdrws.
