I would not buy DVD+RW because I believe that this is a transient
standard. But one of the reasons why there is

        ftp://ftp.fokus.gmd.de/pub/unix/cdrecord/ProDVD/

is to give people the possibility to check cof compatibility.

I Know that the drives that are known to be established products:

Pioneer DVR-S101
Pioneer DVR-S201
Pioneer DVR-A03

all work with cdrecord-ProDVD
