Hi :)

I have compiled and installed cdrtools-1.11a09 (OpenBSD 2.9 / Sun SPARC
20)
(with help of smake :) ... it was not possible to compile it with the
native make)
---
Cdrecord 1.11a09 (sparc-unknown-openbsd2.9) Copyright (C) 1995-2001 Jrg
Schilling
---

The CD-writer has SCSI-ID 6 and has been connected to the internal
SCSI-Bus
(s. the boot message below)
---
Nov  7 22:39:16 openbsd /bsd: cd0 at scsibus0 targ 6 lun 0: <PLEXTOR,
CD-R   PX-R412C, 1.07> SCSI2 5/cdrom removable
---

I can mount the CD-writer (s. the next line) and access the insertetd
CDROM.
     mount -t cd9660 -r /dev/cd0a /mnt/cdrom

QUESTION: How can I address the CD-writer? or WHAT would be the
appropriate ioctl?
~~~~~~~~
Due to README.xxxBSD and the cdrecord man page I have tried to read a
CD-image,
BUT have got the following error message:
---
openbsd# readcd dev=/dev/cd0a:0,6,0 f=cd.img
readcd: Inappropriate ioctl for device. Cannot get SCSI addr.
readcd: Inappropriate ioctl for device. Cannot open SCSI driver.
---
Thank you in advance for some hints!
PS. If I should use the MAKEDEV.su .. WHAT would be the appropriate
minorbase value?
Marek Schneider
