dev=/dev/cd0a:0,6,0
seems garbage.

Use either dev=0,6,0
or dev=/dev/<generic-scsi-device>

For linux the generic scsi devices are sg<n>

But, Marek, please RTFM!
There are lots of README* files that come with cdrtools.
