I always use InMac media when I suspect a problem there. I have done no statics, but having burned CDs since this list was about cdwrite and 2X burn was the new technology, I can say that for whatever reason I have had zero cases where any brand worked better (ie. in a drive where InMac didn't) for either the burn or reading, particularly in crappy old drives. I still have a few systems to support with proprietary drives hanging off ISA Soundblasters, and those drives are very picky. I'm sure there are other good brands, but that's my experience. I do use cheap media, but if "100 for $22" no-name media fail I blame the media first ;-) -- -bill davidsen ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) "The secret to procrastination is to put things off until the last possible moment - but no longer" -me -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
