A highly complex sentence that is not really a question although it ends with '?'
- First, the simple thing: AFAIK the so called program "dvdrecord" does
not contain any code developed by Bernhard Rosenkraenzer or any other
person from Red Hat.
Any questions to Bernhard Rosenkraenzer regarding this topic did remain
unanswered. A short look into te source prooves the assumption....
- From reading the mail from the OP, it is most unlikely that the program
supports the A04, so please explain why you did include it in your
phrase?
- The so called program "dvdrecord" merely includes a patch origninally
distributed by Nicolae Mihalache dedicated to support the A03 only.
- The patch from Nicolae Mihalache adds about 250 lines to the 40,000
lines of code compiled into the cdrecord binary.
- Most of this code has been created by just a cut/paste action
on code developed by me.
- The multi session and packet writing festures definitely have
been introduced by Nicolae Mihalache but are _very_ similar to
apropriate support code fragents that have been in for CD
support for a long time.
- The source for basic DVD writing support is in dispute.
It may have been developed by reverse engineering cdrecod-ProDVD
or by Nicolae Mihalache.
