Until you provide a version which is not marked ALPHA they will continue
to do so! If you feel that it's stable, and it certainly seems to be,
release a STABLE version, make sure it gets out to freshmeat, and I would
expect it to be in the next distributions.

I'm probably wasting my breath, I know I've seen this suggestion several
times before...
