Didn't break anything and worked better. Fixed some really broken
behaviour with your software, I'll tell you. I used to run mkisofs and
build a complete CD image in memory (got lots), then the o/s would decide
it needed memory to run cdrecord and needed to write buffers to disk.
Instant bad response. The stable kernel is much better, the prerelease is
better yet, and the -aa and -ac trees are even better than that!
BTW: reading a CD with sdd or copycd and ide-scsi I always get an error at
the end of the data, while with ATAPI I don't. Same kernel read-ahead, I
doubt that's the problem, and just reading it with a program I see no
problem. Another reason why ATAPI is standard for CD-ROM. Please read this
as a comment, not a criticism.
