I found the real problem: This CD/DVD writer doesn't recognize CD-RW media when they're blanked or when they're just new. It recognizes perfectly CD-R and DVD media. I got to that conclusion because of cdrecord messages and because of the disk led stays blinking with an orange light. Then I looked in the manual and found the explanation: Drive doesn't support media. I inserted a data-written CD-RW in the tray and mounted it. I perfectly could see its contents, but when I blanked it with xcdroast-cdrecord (quick blanking, just TOC) suddenly the disk led (the one in the drive) started to blink orange. Is this a bug or a feature? The manual doesn's say a thing about this. Anyone has the same problem? Thanks. m4c. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
