hi all, i have some 16 bit 44100 Hz .WAV files made with ALSA from live recordings. i'm trying to burn a CD with a Yamaha 8424S scsi CD writer (using kernel 2.4.18). the disk is recorded, but playback speed is too slow. i've tried all sorts of variations to locate the problem, but none makes it go away.
maybe this drive is not supported?? does anyone know? cdrecord has no problems communicating etc. with my burner to get info, state, etc. and the 8832 model is listed as supported. i've read the HOWTO, the documentation, and anything i can find about cdrecord. any pointers would be greatly appreciated. tia, patrick -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
