First, you must try the last version for reporting a problem.

You must find it at : ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/
Then, Are you IDE recorder behind an USB or firewire cable. In that case, I
never succeed to see my recorder with the adaptec ASPI. We bought the
nexitech ASPI. Or you can buy nero which have a working WNASPI32.DLL for the
recorders behind USB or firewire.
