Ok, I have my motherboard back and you were right that the iso wouldn't
mount, however growisofs -Z /dev/sr0 -R -J /directory doesn't work
either, same problem with not being able to mount it - I tried burning a
gentoo iso to dvd and that worked fine, so it seems like something wrong
with my mkisofs - I'm on gentoo now whereas I was having this same
problem on debian sid before. I also tried burning just a 700MB file
with growisofs -Z /dev/sr0 -R -J and got this for output:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] nhl # growisofs -Z /dev/sr0 -R -J
nhl2003allstargame.avi
Executing 'mkisofs -R -J nhl2003allstargame.avi | builtin_dd
of=/dev                        /sr0 obs=32k seek=0'

My mkisofs is version 2.01a16 (using dvd+rw-tools 5.10.4.5.4 though I
doubt that matters now) anyone have any ideas? -Dan
