My only concern is that I burned the disc at ~2x and only for a fraction of time I burned at~4x. Here is the command that I run
mkisofs -V "Data" -R /home/vasilis/data/ | /root/cdrecord-wrapper.sh -v -sao tsize=2276518s -dev=ATA:0,1,0 driveropts=burnfree speed=8 - and this is with the "-immed" option mkisofs -V "Data" -R /home/vasilis/data/ | /root/cdrecord-wrapper.sh -v sao tsize=2276518s -immed -dev=ATA:0,1,0 driveropts=burnfree speed=8 - bill davidsen: The fifo is about ~100% and the buf is 76% (this is also its maximum value). So, it is not like the fifo is getting empty. Although, when the speed dropped to ~0.5x, the buf. decreased to ~13% and fifo decreased to ~70%. I am in a middle of something, but in a couple of hours I will send you the output from the command that I executed.
