as root: peter-suse:/home/jdd/Documents/dvd+rw-tools-6.1 # ./growisofs sorry, the ./ did the trick. the failure of make install made me use the old version (also 6.1, I will notify SUSE) SUSE one is probably also a 6.1 but badly patched in someway.
