Thanks for testing. I will have to look into the various bugs which show up. To my excuse: i have to do any BD-RE blindly without having a drive at hand. The idea was to treat a BD-RE mostly like a DVD-RAM. > Supported modes: TAO SAO RAW/RAW96R <===== SAO is OK It should not have promised that. At least not RAW. The supposed answer would rather be "TAO SAO". > cdrecord_emulation: Cannot read TOC header > cdrecord_emulation: Cannot read TOC/PMA > cdrskin: Media : blank BD-RE All overwriteable media are considered "blank" because one can only deduce from the content where and how much data is stored on them. > cdrskin: burn_drive_get_write_speed = 8992 (51.0x) This looks like the media gets partly mistaken for a CD. > cdrskin: SORRY : Drive offers no suitable write mode with this job > cdrskin: Reason: SAO: no SAO offered by drive and media, TAO: no TAO offered > by drive and media, Obviously the program steps on its own feet here. I will try to simulate a BD-RE by disguising a DVD-RAM. Maybe i can find out where the program gets deviated from the intended processing path. As soon as i have a remedy for the found bugs, i will ask you to test a development tarball. Thanks again for testing, and sorry for the failure.
