Cdrecord of course comes with a man page.

Did you install cdrecord?

If you are running a vanilla Ubuntu installation, you most likely don't have
cdrecord and please note that cdrkit is a defective fork made from an outdated
cdrecord. Please note that the fork cdrkit is in conflict with
GPL and Copyright and cannot be legally distributed.
