Warm weather (the Miami folks apologized when the temp dipped to the 60's).
Great hospitality that featured Cuban pastries for breakfast (a number of them contain sausage or ground beef, Malgore!!), and lunch with dancing that actually enticed a number of debaters to try Salsa dancing (Marissa Silber has pictures and they will also be on Wake Debate website before long). Glitch free administration. Hotel across street from campus. Schedule designed to let you go out to eat and party at night on Miami Standard Time (MIST). MIST begins after 10 pm, reportedly ends after 4 am. Rounds began at 10 am and 9 am on the weekend days. Invitations to be flown to Miami to participate in their webcast and broadcast public debates.
