Hi, I suppose you are using a 64 bit system. Since cegcc is a 32-bit compiler, you have to install a 32-bit-libiconv. On my SuSE 9.3, the TurboLinux RPM works.

The reason was that I compiled a 64bit libiconv all the time. Therefore my proposal: On the page where you write about the dependency of libiconv, please write there that compiling libiconv on 64-bit systems won't help.
