Hi, Thanks for the prompt answer!

I tested and wrote this original message on January, 5, so I don't quite recall... But now I'm sure I "imported" an rpm somehow because I don't remember having any problems on the install and now I'm having them; more on that later. > Hmm, in what way ? lists.sourceforge.net = lists.sf.net . As for the mailing list address, as I said before, I sent the original message on January, 5 to [EMAIL PROTECTED] but I guess it didn't get through; maybe because I hadn't subscribed to the list at that moment. I have few experience on mailing lists. > And what system are you trying to run this on ? Gentoo is a source-based distribution. If you need more info, please tell me specifically what and most probably how to get it :) > > I'd like to create an ebuild (package) for gentoo for this great tool, > > but I need some light on the subject first. I have 0 experience in creating ebuilds, but I'm really willing to do this. I have noticed that the building process is made of some configuration checking, then some make process, then again some config checking and so on. I'm not sure whether I'll be able to implement this in an ebuild as they usually just do the typical config make make install. Just out of curiosity, is cegcc composed of several packages? Any chance this could be split and just get the significant part of cegcc? And maybe put a tarball somewhere not to make the ebuild dependent on svn? As for the problems I was having to get cegcc built, it stoped in a make process, not in a config process, which is weird. I don't have the output at the moment but I'll look into it, try to fix it and most probably ask you for help :D What I did: # svn co https://cegcc.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/cegcc/trunk/cegcc . # cd src/ # ./build-cegcc.sh Cheers ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
