Indeed - although I wouldn't use the TLA for searching... > links expire all the time. really needs to mirror if at all possible. True. Someone at osdev.org suggested to simply post filenames of datasheets, since searching for them usually yields some mirrors. Of course it would be better to mirror datasheets, but that would require a huge amount of storage space... I already try to link to some mirror sites such as www.datasheets.org.uk, just to have some download alternatives. > you should also consider linking to: > http://www.allpinouts.org/ > http://pinouts.ru/ > http://www.pinout.net/ > http://www.beyondlogic.org/blog/ > http://www.hardwarebook.info/ Thanks, these are indeed very good resources, especially when it comes to pinouts / hardware layouts. I will certainly include links to these pages. > especially the last one ... seems like it overlaps a bit with what > you're trying to pull off Indeed, there certainly is some overlap. I didn't know this site before. The reason why I finally kicked off my wiki is that I couldn't find such a centralized site that focuses on the programmer's point of view. The closest to what I was looking for is in fact the eLinux wiki - and of course there's lot of information on particular devices spread across the web.
