St. Higbald of Lincolnshire (also Hugbald; Hybald; Hibald ) --------------------------------------- Died c. 690. Saint Higbald was abbot of a monastery at Bardney, Lincolnshire, England. He is mentioned by the Venerable Bede as an friend of Saint Chad. In later life he lived as a hermit. His relics are at Hibaldstowe, Lincolnshire.
