Cemetery: Nov. 13, 2005 An aide of General George Washington was found today...
List user 11/14/2005, 1:22:17 PM I guess I'll never run out of odd names to find in cemeteries. There certainly was plenty of them today. The drab colours of last week didn't exist this weekend, the trees are bare now. Every cemetery I was in today was surrounded by gunfire. Must still be deer season. 7:45am I pulled into Maple Lawn Cemetery on Route 104 at Maple View, N.Y. Also, I talked to Joan Perkins about coincidences when we were at St. Agnes cemetery, close to the end of that one we found a Fleming and Perkins grave stone close to one another, another one happened here, but I didn't see it right away. This cemetery had three entrances, I happen to pick the middle one and drove around to the far side (third entrance/exit) and parked and went walking at first towards the right. Had I walked to the left about 4 foot, I would have found a whole family of Fleming's right along side the car and didn't see that till later.........but it gets better........later. Revolutionary War Vet. (he gets the VIP status for the day.) At this point I've been under the umbrella for half this "Empire of the Dead," made kind of a loop and getting close to the opposite side of the car, where had I gone towards this direction first, I would have found the Fleming's. And what do I find ........... Little John died July 31, 1874 aged 5 years and 9 months.( odd, this is what my brother has always been called) William Fleming 1832-1905(odd when you stand there looking at a tomb stone with your name on it) Fordyce W.
