to Orvis Street Cemetery just off of Main St at 8:31am.

Picked up one flag, walked .3 miles in this "Dormant Den" and vacated at
12:09pm.
On the way to the next one, I spied a gift shop and dropped in to find
something for Sue. That lady in the gift shop talks a
lot....................
12:41pm brings me to Pine Grove Cemetery at the other end of Maple Street.
Downer Wait died March 10, 1884 in his 80th year.

haven't I said. She drove on, actually, she looked and sounded rotten

"Hey" I looked over and an old guy is coming from a house across the street
and now holding onto the chain link fence surrounding the cemetery, luckily
we're on two different sides of the fence. "Who you looking for?" I
mentioned
lots of names but he caught on Fobare/Faubert. "I knew many in Waddington"
So I told him that's where mine were from. "Did you know Lawrence Fobare?"
Sure, he's my cousin. He runs the cattle auction barn in Dekalb Junction.
Mistake..................now that that was established, we were instant
buddies in
his eyes. "Why Lawrence and I used to play shuffle board all the time and
drink a few brews". " Notice I don't have my teeth in?"
Hmmmmmmmmmmm,
nope, just thought your mouth was empty. "Look at these" He pulled his upper
and
lowers out of his pocket. "see how they're bent?" "dropped them out of
my
shirt pocket this morning while getting in the car and closed the door on
them".
Take my word for it, they were bent in some very strange configurations.
"Have to run them up to Montreal to get them fixed."
Well, now that I'm familiar with his dentures and his caved in cheeks while
talking to me, I told him I had to be moving on. 'I'm 80 'ya know". I
never would have guessed I said. Have a good day, and back across the street
he
went. I'll just bet if it wasn't for that fence he would have handed me
those
dentures of his................I'm just going to have to go back to the
mute/deaf routine that worked once before....................

5:12pm brings me to Bombay Hillside Cemetery. Bombay is on Route 95 South
which I got on after leaving Hogansburg.

Walked .8 miles in this "Tomb Terrace" picked up 11 flags and vacated at
5:41pm.
I now got to Moira, N.Y. on Route 11 and it has a motel and that's where I
halted for the night.
Looks like I walked an even 11 miles for the day.
