Leaving the garage at 6:53am its 34F/3C a bit nippy and very moist out

here.

Basically heading east on Route 90 and ending up on or near Route 20 area

for the day.

By the way, this place smells great, the heavy Fall smell of fallen leaves

which is near constant in all the cemeteries now..................and the

occasional smell of burning leaves through these rural areas. Those would be

And now the awful squawking of 1000's upon 1000's of geese. Largest flock

I've ever seen together and they are low. When I left, it wasn't but 2
blocks

away is where they all landed for the night. But, as they were slowly on
their

way down, they kind of made an arch right over the cemetery and then turning

slightly to land in that field. Have you ever seen WHITE rain?? This was

about all I could see as they came closer, strings of white poop flying down
from

those screeching birds. I hustled over to the closest spruce tree and took

cover. After close to 10 minutes of hiding from the POOP STORM, it was over

and they had landed. They missed me and to my surprise where the car was

parked they missed that also. But 'ya should have seen some of the tomb

stones............dripping.......................

This gave me 13.1 miles for the day and I've been paying for it yesterday

and today............

But it was a great day and especially the smell of the fall air.

If weather permits there will be one last cemetery trip for this year,

Friday will head to Hamilton, N.Y. and see what they have to offer, in the
way of

dead, that is.....................

the Sunday paper, and that's when it hit me. I know what the "saw" on the

grave stone was for.

A saw is a tool, right?
