"Here lies Fred

Who was alive, and is dead

Had it been his father

I had much rather

Had it been his brother

Still better than another

Had it been his sister

No one would have missed her

Had it been the whole generation

Still better for the nation

But since 'tis only Fred

Who was alive and is dead

There's no more to be said."

You ever get repeating songs etc. in your head and cant seem to get rid of

them? Funny, I just got an old nursery/song." Skip to my Loo". I never

gave this song much thought before, but, now me thinks this is a very
strange

song and its meaning. Loo= a British toilet. Skip skip, skip to my Loo.

Damn, now I know why they were skipping so fast, they really had to

go......................"skip to my Loo, my darling". Damn, why would your

darling

want to know your headed for the Loo/bathroom? Them British sure do speak

funny...................LOL

10:53AM brings me to Transit Rd. off of Rt 63, 2 abandoned cemeteries @

51F/9C.

After walking back to this abandoned cemetery, I felt positive about

finding bones before looking closely at the first grave. Woodchuck holes all

over in here and many look like they are right into the graves.

Sure enough, the first grave..........

Survina Perry died Feb 8, 1847 age 91 years. And the 1st

thing I see here was a little bone sticking out, and its a finger bone.
Kicking

the dirt around, there are more bones. Picked up what I found and put them

down the hole and jammed in some rocks.

Everywhere I walked in here was a potential bone bed as there was high

grass, holes, branches and rubble. More bones were found through out this

abandoned place and all I could do was force them done the holes and place

stones over them.

Ezra Starkweather died Jan 17, 1874 age 79 years. < Not

sure which bone I'm looking at , but down a hole it went.

Fanny Smead died Dec 20, 1811 age 11 years, 5 months and

10 days.

Most of the headstones in here are laying down, and the ones I cant read

are face down.

Sarah Daurghy died Sept 7, 1865 age 58 years and 9 months.

The best find, or most startling find here was the skull, but its location

doesn't give me a real idea of which headstone it might belong to (P).

Wanna see a skull/ Drop me a note if your not on the photo list. Put "skull"

in the subject line.
