I believe that the WASP worldview which dominated American Christianity -- and American culture -- has been in decline since at least the 1950's. Accompanied, I might add, by a general decline in the "modernist" worldview, both of which date roughly to the 18th century. What comes next? I believe postmodernism is the right question, but not a satisfactory answer. I believe that the future will be built using some elements of radical centrism and transformational Christianity. But what exactly that looks like won't be clear until after the feat is accomplished.
