Centroids :

A friend of mine is now looking in on our group and may join us for discussions

in the near future. His name is Barry Sommer, whom I have gotten to know

during the past year or so here in Oregon.

 

Barry is originally from California and once was a DJ in , I think, the LA area.

For the past two years he has hosted a local TV show called "Islam Today,"

which documents the myriad and often strange and sometimes criminal things

Muslims do around the world, with emphasis on the USA.  If you think I know

a lot about Islam, Barry knows more.

 

His interests are far wider than that , however, and he is curious about RC and

about our group, based on what I have told him. Barry is also active in the

free speech group I belong to in Eugene, Pacifica Forum, noted for the

controversial subject matter that it regularly presents at

the University of Oregon.

 

No guarantees, of course, but just maybe he will like what we have to offer.

I told him to give us a little time since, obviously, most days this isn't exactly

Global Information Central. Still, there is real value over any length of time

and maybe Barry will tune in.
