Ernie: I was thinking about Italy, if you want to know, and generalizing to other countries. Very low internet penetration there, FAR below the lowest European standards. As a guess, also because computer use ( as I understand it ) remains lower among women than among men, that "half" ( 45 % or 57 % or whatever ) are still not "wired." No other implications.
